We explored the potential of small scale architectural interventions on-site in Neukölln with CO-MACHINES designed and built by Bachelor students in Braunschweig. Students were encouraged to imagine, plan, built and test a 1:1 co-machine that encourages passengers to interact, co-create, co-explore, co-operate and communicate. Videos of the actions, filmed by the students themselves were part of the exhibition NEUXKOELLN. This was just some weeks before corona locked down Berlin city life and co-vid-19 became the ultimate social distancing machine!
